Practically late, Kahoko Hina rushes to her school and spots... a fairy?!?! This gives her the motivation to get to her class. The school she attends is recognized for its music, however, Kahoko is just a regular student. The music students of the school are entering a music tournament, and when the announcements are made, Kahoko is mentioned as well and will compete! It turns out that only she can see this fairy whom has "chosen" her. Kahoko is dumbfounded because she specialises in no instrument. The fairy then gives her a magical violin, can she really endure this competition? and her skeptical peers?

well, actually I haven't finished read it T.T but I just directly fall into this comic. I love music, and I think this comics present a side of beautiful world of music :D
and, I plan to watch it's anime and collect it's manga :D

Well, I haven't finished reading it, but it must be a great comic. I like the art and drawing :D and I really like Akira. He is just awesome ! I wish I can be Takami :D

Penguin Brothers (ペンギン☆ブラザーズ, pengin burazaazu) is a manga series by mangaka Ayumi Shiina. The story follows tomboy Hina on her mission to liberate her high school from its two dictators. These two leaders have split the student population into two opposing groups: Isshiki's followers wear a white uniform; Nishizaki's wear a black uniform. With the help of non-uniform wearer (a.k.a. Grey) Koshiba she sets out to overturn the whole school. that is from wikipedia, here is my own :D

So, Hina Mishima transferred to Tokiwa Academy. Hina stays with her uncle, Kyouichi Mishima. He is a famous young artist and he is a unique person for me :D
when Hina looks around the school, she find something different in that school. And then a boy named, Tetsuta Koshiba. He is the only person who wears normal clothes, and then he explains to Hina what is going on in the school. There are 2 kinds of people in the school called the Black and the White. Those 2 kinds wear different uniform and they stay away from each other. And they who don’t wear uniform called The Grey. Hina thinks that is very awkward.

Tetsuta Koshiba immediately becomes very familiar with Hina and he said that they have the same scent. Wkwkwkkw I laughed at this scene. She is just so cute.

These gangs have their leader those are Kaito Nishizaki from The Black and Shoui Isshiki from The White. Shoui Isshiki apparently already knows Hina that he tells Hina his name again and again, until he gets mad when he realizes that Hina knows nothing about him. Poor Shoui. If I were him, I’ll get really depressed :P

The story go on, until Hina gets sick of the school’s rule, after Ruu, her friend, is attacked by ‘Snake’, unit pembasmi Grey, and she announced that she is going to change the school and she become the Grey’s leader, that she is supported by the smartest student at school.

Nishizaki realize that Hina is Isshiki’s the only weakness, then he try to put Hina in danger to get Isshiki’s attention. Isshiki always try to protect Hina and it makes Hina curious about who Isshiki truly are, and that Ruu says they once announced that they are going to married. Wkwkwk XD but she remembers nothing about Isshiki. It seems like she loses some of her memories. So, Hina’s duties are to change the school and to get her memories about Isshiki back.

The story getting more interesting, when the Leader of the White and the Black apparently has a secret relationship. And also the love story between Koshiba, Hina and Kyou, Hina’s uncle. But still, the most interesting problem is, who is Hina for Isshiki, what kind of relationship they had before, and Hina seems to Isshiki’s precious one.

I felt really excited about this story. I know there must be love chemistry between them, even though Ayumi Shiina didn’t get them together even until the end of the story, I wish they have futures together :D

I really love this comic. It is just unlike another love comic, it has deep sense of feeling of friendship and also love. It is very touching, no matter how many times I re-read it, I always cry at the last chapter, when Hina help Isshiki again.
